Nice film. The beginning with the shaky camera and busy music was maddening, but the remainder of the film very nice. Music has a powerful effect on perception. Always nice to hear your commentary.

Wondering how much you budgeted for food/day also the average cost of campsites? 50/50 campsite vs non-campsite?

    • Food wasn’t cheap, but not that expensive. It depends what you buy too, certain foods can be twice the price you’re used to, whereas others are about the same, so you can work what you eat around budget. Have a look on here, looks about right http://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-living/compare_countries.jsp

Camping isn’t expensive either, for me in 2010 I was paying between £8 and £12 per night. Free-camping didn’t turn out to be the easy option I thought it would be. The grassland is all fenced private farmland and the rest is rocky, camping along the beaches might be easier though. Also, every town seems to have some sort of designated camping spot. In the off-season you may find a lot of the campsites are closed, butyou can always ask a farmer if it’s ok to campm on their land.
